SDB History
A family-owned business, SDB was incorporated in Arizona, November of 1980.
In 1981, SDB landed a small office renovation job for Motorola, Inc. While at the facility, SDB recognized the intensive amount of on-going construction and decided to focus their resources in the cleanroom manufacturing environment. SDB went on to become the Valley's Most Recognized Cleanroom Contractor, 5-years in a row (Ranking Arizona Business Magazine). working for clients such as Motorola, STMicroelectronics, On-Semiconductor, Rodel Corporation and the world's largest chip manufacturer. SDB has performed projects ranging from complete new fabrication facilities, such as Motorola's MOS 21M, an $80 million, 40,000 square foot-class 10 cleanroom; to modest $100 door hardware repairs.
As SDB continues past its first quarter century and beyond, we continue to seek out clients that demand a general contractor that can deliver a project on time, with quality and competitiveness never being sacrificed.

Dominic Spagnuolo founds Southwest Desert Builders.
Southwest Desert Builders changes name to SDB Inc.
Small Business Administration Names Dominic Spagnuolo Small Business Person of the Year.
SDB becomes one of the first JOC contractors in Arizona.
SDB is awarded Job Order Contracts with Mohave Educational Cooperative Services and The Cooperative Purchasing Network.
