Kiwanis Park Ramada Renovations

The Kiwanis Park JOC project included many challenges that demonstrated SDB Inc's capacity to perform within an active public park, under tight deadlines, and the value of Job Order Contracting in a parks and recreation setting. The scope of the work included masonry work, installation of seven prefabricated ramada shade structures and upgrading ADA features throughout the 125 acre park. The compressed project time line, budget and value engineering requirements made the Kiwanis Park Ramada Installations project a perfect fit for JOC.
The SDB team overcame the challenges of park activity, multiple contractors on site installing a new irrigation system, and several consecutive days of monsoon rain, finishing the JOC project in 150 days, on budget and delivering the quality and attention to detail that our customers count on.
