Banner Health engaged SDB to prepare an existing MRI room to receive a new Fujifilm Oasis Velocity Open MRI at their Gilbert Imaging Center.  SDB removed nearly every bit of copper shielding in the space in order to remove the steel magnetic shielding necessary for the old MRI, but detrimental to the Oasis Velocity, and rebuilt the room to meet the specifications of the new machine.  We also added new two new HVAC units, a cryogen vent, and a roof-mounted chiller to keep everything cool.  SDB is proud to have supported Banner and Fujifilm in preparing the workhorse 1.2T MRI to help innumerable patients find better health.
