SDB’s civil team completed all offsite and onsite underground wet utilities for the project of ‘JDA Commerce Center’ in Goodyear, AZ. SDB maintained a safe and productive schedule while working on two active five-lane roads to reach existing utilities. Scope included tapping and installing two 10” DIP fire lines across Van Buren Street (400 LF per crossing) to the property and connecting to the existing sewer at two locations on Litchfield Park Rd (400 LF per crossing) to the job site. Once on site, SDB was able to install 8,600’ of 10” DIP fire line, 2,200’ of 8” SDR 35 sewer line, 8,200’ of HDPE storm drain (ranging in size from 12” to 48”) and 29 fire hydrants.
